Mid Valley Agricultural Services was founded in 1983. The founders, Larry Beck, Pete Bulthuis and R & J Dondero, have been in agriculture all their lives.
Mid Valley Agricultural Services, Inc. is a full service retail chemical and fertilizer company with 54 licensed Pest Control Advisors serving San Joaquin Valley from Sacramento to the Fresno area. This farming area is diversified with 70 percent in permanent crops and 30 percent in row crops. Mid Valley Agricultural Services, Inc. has been successful because of their commitment to service.
Mid Valley Agricultural Services, Inc provides services to growers who are registered by the Agricultural Commissioner’s Office in their respective county.

Timeline of Success:
- The Escalon branch was opened in 1988 with more than fifty employees for both stores.
- In November of 2000 further expansion included three Pacoast outlets including Patterson, Livingston and Escalon.
- The Hughson store was added in November of 2002.
- In January of 2003 service was extended to the Brentwood area.
- Mid Valley Agricultural Services, Inc. formed a joint venture with Westan (West Stanislaus Growers) in February 2007 which is known as West Valley Agricultural, LLC.
With these additions both Mid Valley Agricultural Services, Inc. and Westan employ over one hundred sixty employees. Mid Valley Agricultural Services, Inc. sales staff attend training updates year round to increase their knowledge and technical awareness of pest management and fertility. Pest management includes both biological and chemical alternatives for control of insect, disease, plant growth regulators and weed pests. New products and information about pest management continue to be introduced and tested for different crops.
Mid Valley Agricultural Services, Inc. is comprised of Accounting, Administration, Operations, Sales, Technical Services, BG Agri Sales and Service, Cal Ag Safety specializing in Pesticide, General Farm Safety and Food Safety.
